Located in Troy, Ohio just north of Dayton, The Milkweed Patch provides several varieties of Ohio native milkweed and plants that support monarch butterflies and other insects.
What started as a hobby in 2014 with just a single annual sale has grown into multiple sales throughout the growing season in Miami County and surrounding areas. We are committed to providing quality plants that are meant to be eaten by caterpillars, butterflies, moths, bees, wasps, beetles, flies, and any other insect to insure they are part of a healthy ecosystem. That means we don’t use any chemicals – EVER!
And while we have a pretty good knowledge base about pollinators (monarch butterflies in particular) we are always learning more. Ask us questions – if we don’t know the answer, we’ll do our best to find it for you.
